  1. The "Organization of American States" is like the United Nations, but focused on diplomacy among countries in the Americas. Every year WFS sends about 20 students to a 4-day conference in Washington DC where they present and debate resolutions with other students from many schools. To prepare for this event, candidates meet once a cycle during lunch beginning on January, for a December conference. Might you be interested in taking part?

  1. The World Affairs Club and Academic Challenge Club meets once a cycle to prepare for competitions against 4-person teams of other schools based on knowledge of world affairs or academic subjects. Might you be interested in taking part?

  1. The Geography Club involves 4th-6th graders in having fun games and competitions and learn about the world. It meets once a week, on Monday, from January through early April, and several Upper School students serve as coaches; no firm commitment is necessary, and you can come when you don't have sports.
