Text Messages & Communication

You have been selected to participate in a study on how different texts are interpreted. You will be asked to answer 19 multiple choice questions about different texts you may receive. You will also be asked to give your age range and gender. These results are confidential and will never be associated with identifiying information. Participation in this study is voluntary; if you choose to withdraw at any time, you will not be penalized in any way. There are no foreseeable medical issues or risks that may stem from taking this test, but should issues occur you will be treated at your own expense and encouraged to contact necessary authorities. Benefits of participating in this study are that you will understand more how different people interpret texts. If you would like a copy of the completed study you may request one from the student researcher using the contact information below.
