VOTE: Virginia PTA 2010 Proposed Legislation Program

Each year, members of the VA PTA cast their votes on proposed additions and/or changes to the VA PTA's Legislation Program. The VA PTA advocates at the Federal, State and local level on behalf of the positions in our Legislation Program. If approved, these three items will be added to our advocacy efforts. EACH PTA MEMBER IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD MAY VOTE. You can visit River's Edge PTA website (www.reespta.org) to read the rationales for each item and learn more about VA PTA's Legislation and advocacy efforts.

If you have any comments or questions related to any of these items, please contact Kathy Burcher, Legislation Chair, REES PTA at kburcher@verizon.net.

The VA PTA is also looking for volunteers interested in helping with the Legislation Committee this winter while the General Assembly is in session. If interested, please contact Kathy Burcher at kburcher@verizon.net.
