Central States Meeting Times at ACTFL
The purpose of this survey is to explore alternate meeting times for the Sunday morning board meeting at the 2010 ACTFL Conference in Boston. The assumption is that Friday afternoon is an acceptable time for one half-day meeting. This topic will not be discussed by the board until the spring meeting in Minneapolis.
This survey is not intended to propose any changes to the spring meeting at our own conference.

- Sunday morning is a convenient time to conclude our meetings at ACTFL.*

- I rarely have problems making travel arrangements to return home on Sunday afternoon following the meeting.*
|
- If our final meeting were to be scheduled another time, I would probably attend some ACTFL sessions on Sunday morning.*

- Arriving at the conference for a Thursday afternoon/evening meeting (3 p.m. or later) would be more difficult for me than arranging for a Sunday afternoon departure, as we do currently.*

- My preferences for scheduling the second half-day board meeting are*

- I would most likely have a conflict with the following alternate meeting times because of (1) other ACTFL events, (2) the need to meet with my committee or other person prior to the meeting, or (3) other difficulty.*

- I would consider the possibility of eliminating the ACTFL board meetings in favor of a meeting at the conference site sometime during the summer or over a fall weekend.
