State BB SURVEY-Middle School

We have a number of possibilities to consider in an attempt to avoid adding more makeup days because of the state tournament. Please answer the following question to help us determine if having a day of school on Thursday is a greater priority for you than attending the state tournament.

  1. If the basketball team wins on Tuesday, do you want to attend Thursday's game badly enough that you would want another day of school canceled that would need to be made up? (You must have 5.5 hours of instruction to be able to count it as a day of school. Therefore we'd have to be in session until at least 2:30 if we have school.)*

Would you be willing to come in early on Thursday at 7 a.m. for professional development in order to be able to dismiss early enough on Thursday so that all staff could still make it to the game? (You may have a school day of less than 5.5 hours of instruction time if the day also includes PD for teachers.)*
