Summer Science Course

This is an interest survey for a summer earth science course that would count for an additional science credit. You are still required to take biology, physical science, and (physics or chemistry). This science credit will count as a forth science credit for the South Dakota Opportunities Scholarship and as an elective credit.

Earth science is the study of the unique planet we call home. It's the study of the land on which we live, the air and water around us, and the stars and planets overhead. It includes the delicate growth of snowflakes, the eruption of volcanoes, the gentle ebb and flow of tides, and the shifting of the desert sand.

The course will run for 5 weeks 4 days per week.
Each week will be spent on 1 of these topics
Ecology
Geology
Astronomy
Hydrology
Meteorology
