Honors Physics - SPRING 2010

Name (optional):

A red asterisk (*) indicates required questions.

  1. Rank all the topics we've covered this semester from least difficult (1) to most difficult (4)*
        1 2 3 4
    Waves and Sound
    Light and Optics
    Electricity and Circuits
    Magnetism

  1. Rank all the topics we've covered so far from most enjoyable (1) to least enjoyable (4)*
        1 2 3 4
    Waves and Sound
    Light and Optics
    Electricity and Circuits
    Magnetism

  1. What do you think would help you understand difficult concepts better?*
More time spent on going over the packet, lecture style + fewer labs
More labs + less time going over practice problems and the practice test
More time going over labs in class + less time going over the packet
More time going over homework in class + less time spent on the practice test
I don't see a choice I like here, I'll address this in the free response at the end of the survey

  1. The level of homework in this class is*
    not enough
    just right
    too much

  1. The style of homework, where it is given all at once and collected during the test is*
not rigid enough, I'd prefer set problems given every class and reviewed the next class
    I like this method
I'd prefer to do the practice test at home as well as the homework
I'd prefer doing everything on my own: the packet, practice test and homework. No time spent in class going over this.

  1. What helps you prepare for the tests the best?*
    The packet
    The book
    The practice test
    The homework
    The labs

  1. What is your first choice for what you'd like to focus on in our next topic, modern physics?*
    Nuclear Physics
    Relativity
    Quantum Physics
    Chaos Theory
    Astrophysics
Other - I'll address this in the free response section

  1. If you answered Other to any of the questions, please explain a bit here. Also, if you have any information you would like to give regarding this class, please feel free to write that here as well.
