    I create web pages not only for myself but for others (either profit or as a hobby).
    I have created a page or two before.
    I know how to cut-and-paste html code, but have no idea what it means!

    I am very familiar with the Windows operating system.

    I have an extensive and up-to-date collections
    If I need something, I can easily find it on the web.
    I know what you're yoalking about but would need to seach around.
    I am totally lost when it comes to using the computer and/or internet.

    I can make a web page from scratch using htnl code and a text editor (i.e. Notepad) and have expierence with using a web page editinf program (i.e. Dreamweaver).
    I can make a web page from scratch using html code and text editor, but have no expierence usin a web page editing program.
    I can create a web page but I have to rely on a web editor program.
    I have never created a web page.


  1. What drives tour interest in learning web design? (Choose all that apply)*
    I think it will benefit me in the future when I want to advertise for my own business. (Every successfull business should have a website.)
    It will look great on my resume and help me in getting a good job.
    It will look good on my transcript for college.
    I love computers, and want to know all there is to know about them.
    I think it will be cool to show off my skills to my family and friends.
    I want to know how to enhance (a.k.a. 'pimp') my profile on MySpace.

    Identifying errors is not one of the things I do well.

    few, if any, corrections concering my grammar, puncuation and spelling.
    2-5 corrections concering grammar, puncuation, and spelling on each page.
    All I see is red!


  1. How good are you at proofreading your own writing and that of other writers?*
    I'm good at finding errors and can even spot them in the newspaper.
    When I preoofread others work, I can usually only find the glaring errors.
    I wouldn't recognize a run-on sentence if it bit me on the nose I didn't even notice that this sentence is a run on sentence.


  1. Which statement best describes your aptitude when it comes to aesthetic matters of art and design?*
    I have a good sense of which colors, textures, lines and shapes work well together, and I can tell you exactly why things do or don't work together.
    I have a pretty good sense of design but have difficulty explaining why things do or don't work together.
    I've never been too concerned with making things look nice.

    I recieve high marks
    I recieve average marks
    Art is not one of my better subjects

    My bedroom is meticulously mainatined. Every item has a place and a purpose.
    Once in a while I clean ip my room, but I'm not really bothered by clutter.
    An orderly room is not something I care about.

    watching what the instructor is doing.
    talking through with the teacher exactly what I'm supposed to do.
    giving it a try myself and work it out as I go.

    I'm comfortable assisting others with their work even if they haven't requested my help.
    I'm comfortable assisting others only after they have requested my help.
    I'd rather not assist others with their work.

    I feel very comfortable speaking and like to take an active role.
    I'm reluctant to speak out but want to participate.
    I'd prefer if someone tells me what to do and I'll do it.
    I would really prefer to work by myself.
