You may vote for TWO of the following girls for student of the month.
Rochelle Salazar – she works really hard and has been spending her class periods trying to help Caroline Llyod get up to speed.
Rachel Julian is the ideal student! She is always on task, working hard, and attentive. Her smile is contagious and she seems to enjoy school! She is always kind to her classmates and teachers. She is involved in her church and yearbook. She has great grades and an even better attitude!
Juanita Sanchez is an ESOL student who works hard to learn the language and who strives to succeed in the classroom. Juanita knew that she was going to be out and requested her work prior. We’ve heard that right? Well, Juanita came back after three days out and had more than Barbara and I ever thought. She is such a quiet, conscientious girl that she may fly under the radar. She is willing to step in whenever anyone needs some extra help and does so with such a gentle, kind manner.
Cristal Almanza is amazing! She is so sweet and such a hard worker. Although she is shy, she will attempt to work with and do anything I volunteer her for.
Josselyne Rodriguez always has a smile on her face. She is a hard worker, and when she was faced with a schedule change didn’t skip a beat. She just shines!
You may vote for TWO of the following boys for student of the month.
Ricky Perez is an exceptional young man. He is so well-mannered and quick to help others. Even when the work is challenging for him, he gives it his best.
Devan Cantrell is a stellar student. He always has a smile on his face and works very hard to make his work exemplary. He has high As in all his classes and works well with others. He is a role model in and out of class!
Kyle Byrnes –I watched Kyle interact in a student led class discussion this week. He had completed all of his research prior and was thoroughly knowledgeable of the material, but what struck me the most was how he interacted with his peers. When a student said something that was obviously WRONG and totally off topic Kyle responded, “I can understand how you might have thought that. Have you looked at it this way?” and then proceeded to calmly and gently explain it to the rest. He was so mature in his manner with the other students while still getting the content to them. I couldn’t have done a better job myself.
