This survey is being used to see how you currently feel about your high school education. Please answer all questions to the best of your ability and as honestly as possible in order to get a true representative answer about your education. This may help in determining if new policies should be enacted.

    Before agreeing to participate in this research study, it is important that you read the following explanation of this study. This statement describes the purpose, procedures, benefits, and the risks. You have the right to withdraw from the study/survey at any time.

    Explanation of Procedures
    You are being asked to participate in a research project to investigate the attitudes and perceptions of high school seniors in Rockdale public schools towards their education and how it is effecting their decisions and future actions.
    The approach of the research is through the use of a questionnaire via Quia. You will complete a questionnaire that contains approximately 30 questions; this should take approximately 15-25 minutes.

    The questionnaires will be read over only by the Researcher. He will review the answers and will not know who answered the questions. The questionnaire results will be added together and presented during the Magnet Symposium and also other various science competitions. The names of the people answering the questionnaires will not be announced/ or recorded.
    Risks and Discomforts
    You will not be at physical or psychological risk and should experience no discomfort resulting from answering the questionnaire
    Benefits
    There are no direct benefits by participating in this project. However, this research is expected to yield what actually may have helped or hinder in academic processes and if some county rules should be enacted in order to help these students reach the height in their potential.
