Troop 45 Leadership Survey (for all scouts)

The first two questions in this survey refer to the elected positions within a troop. The final question asks you to rank your leadership position preferences--remember, your current SPL has a plan where every member of our small troop will take on a leadership position. Leadership training for all scouts will be Friday night, October 15, from 6-9PM at the Scout Hut.

Name

  1. Elected Position: Patrol Leader
Do you intend to run for the Patrol Leader position for your Patrol? Any member of the patrol is eligible to run.
    Yes
    No

  1. Elected Position: Senior Patrol Leader
If you are Star Rank or higher, do you intend to run for the Senior Patrol Leader position? If you answer, "Yes", you will need to meet with Mr. Holladay before the Troop meeting on Thursday, along with all others who answered "Yes", to go over the requirements and obligations inherent in this position (if you are elected, you will have one extra meeting each week, on Monday or Tuesday, where you will meet withe Scoutmaster, and you will need to spend time before that meeting preparing the week's meeting plan--you should consider the SPL position equal to participating in a school extracurricular activity).
    Yes
    No

  1. Appointed Positions:
Which of the following positions would you most like to fill, if you are not elected to the position of PL or SPL? The Senior Patrol Leader will try to assign you to one of your top three choices for which you're eligible, but be sure to think carefully about the top 5, just in case. Note, this computer-based survey will require you to rank all of them, but you can fill the rest in randomly--the Senior Patrol Leader will only look at your top 5 (especially the top 3).
