Technology Training Needs Assessment-spring 2011
Please complete this survey so that the district may determine if after school trainings are needed and the level of interest for course offerings. Mulitple answers are allowed for multiple select questions.

- The ActivInspire basic training class covers getting started with the Promethean board, using the pen tool, entering text from the computer, adding images from the resource browser, using Promethean Planet and simple troubleshooting. Which of these topics would you like to see offered in a training class?

- The ActivInspire Intermediate class covers using camera tools to capture diagrams and images from other resources, using and editing profiles, copying/pasting between existing Microsoft files and ActivInspire, using the object browser and layers to create interactive flipchart pages, using connectors, and annotating over web pages and documents. Which of these topics would you like to see offered in a training class?

- The ActivInspire Advanced class covers using the property browser to design interactive pages, page and object properties, container activities, restricting object movement, assigning actions to objects and embedding sound and/or video in a flipchart. Which of these topics would you like to see offered in a training class?

- The ActivInspire Create & Collaborate class provides a 30 minute question and answer period followed by dedicated time to work on a flipchart of your choosing while getting 1:1 coaching. It is most effective when you attend with a colleague teaching the same subject or grade as you. Would you be interested in this class?

- The Marzano, Danielson & Promethean class demonstrates how to incorporate Marzano & Danielson strategies and best practices into an interactive flipchart. It is a two-day after school session with the second day primarily for creating your own flipchart with 1:1 coaching as needed. Would you be interested in this class?

- The Performance Tracker class demonstrates how to create/edit classes, run various reports that track student achievement, how to add sub-groups and create interventions. Would you be interested in this class?
