Self-Assessment Checklist: Presentational Speaking (NOVICE)

Use this checklist to record what you think you can do. Many of the main can-do statements are followed by examples to help you understand more clearly what the expections are.

Choose a proficiency level for each task (where you would rate your ability as of today) from 1 to 5. Consider level 1 "I can do this somewhat" and level 5 "I can do this well." If you are unable to do the task at all choose "I cannot do this."

One you have checked the majority of the items for a particular level with a 4 or 5, progress to the next level to see what you can do there and what you may want to set as future goals.
