Chesapeake Chapter Election of Officers 2011-2012 program year and three motions.

Hello Chapter Members:

On Saturday, April 16, 2011, we agreed to conduct our election of officers for the 2011-2012 program year via electronic vote. We were one member short for a quorum. We also agreed to vote on three additional questions that will be listed in a in this file as well.

    Vote to change the chapter meeting to the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3:00P.M

    Rational: As we continue to recruit younger mothers, one of the concerns that several people have expressed is the difficulty of attending meetings on Saturdays. Many children are involved in sport and other activities that require mothers to be present.

    The Regional Conference will be held in Hampton VA on July 21-24. We are hosting this conference along with other chapters in this area. The budget committee is proposing that the chapter pay $100.00 towards the registration fee for each member that plans to attend. The stimulation for paying this money on behalf of the member is the member must be financial by May 30th and have satisfied all requirements associated with being in good standing at that time.
