    Yes
    No
Where is the Academic Success Center????

  1. What do you think of this idea- We'd like to start a mentoring program - tutors mentor other students who are in academic need. They would meet with them weekly to help them stay on track, and share their own experiences. They would have a once a month meeting in the center in the evening to do some activity together.
I like this idea a lot.
    It's just okay.
I don't think this will work.
I don't think the activity would work
    I like the activity idea
Should be between the tutor and student if an activity is done.
This could be open to anyone. Students could sign up for a mentor.

  1. How can we make this mentoring program a success? List any activities and /or ideas that you think would help.

  1. We know that many students never visit the ASC. If you've never been to the center, what can we do better to help catch the attention of students? ( We already put up posters, attend classes, and have handouts.) How can we get the word out in a better way? What can we do to encourage students to use our services?

  1. What to you think about a game night in the Center once or twice a month?
    Yes, that sounds like fun.
    Yes you should try it.
It's just okay, I might go.
    I would go.
    I probably wouldn't go.

  1. Did you know that we offer tutoring via the computer- SKYPE?
    yes
    no
    What is SKYPE?

  1. What types of workshops could the center offer at the beginning of each semester to help students? How can we get the word out ( other than email and posters) to students? when should they be offered?

  1. We are considering offering during the late summer, a day when freshman students would be invited to come in and be oriented to the computers- how to send and retrieve email, web pages, how to contact instructors, how to sign up for classes, how to contact their advisor...etc
What do you think of this idea? Is it needed?

  1. If you don't know about SKYPE- how can we get that information out to you? What do you think is the best method of delivering information on campus?
