FADIMA Feeback Needed!
FADIMA needs member feedback regarding the potential increase in membership dues and conference registration fees for members and publishers. Although efforts have been made to streamline costs, we currently only have enough funds to sustain organizational activities up until this year’s FADIMA conference. This lack of funding will hamper our organization’s ability to perform effectively. One of our important roles is our lobbyist activities which has allowed our voice to be heard by our legislature, a role especially vital in this time of shrinking budgets, an evolving state adoption process, and changes that impact our role as instructional materials administrators as we transition to digital content.

Consequently, we need to increase our organization’s revenue to maintain our level of effectiveness.
The only opportunity FADIMA has to generate enough income to maintain these vital projected expenditures is through our annual FADIMA conference.
The upcoming FADIMA conference will be one of our organization’s most crucial meetings. Given the transition to digital content there is a lot of speculation and uncertainty, and both FDOE and the Publishers will be watching our activities to gauge the state’s future instructional materials' needs.
To that goal, we need our members’ support for the following proposals:
