A good citizen is...
Someone who treats everyone nicely whether they are friends or not.
Someone who uses good manners ( i.e. Thank You, Please, Excuse Me, yes ma’am, no sir, May I hold the door for you?).
Someone who is always willing to lend a helping and to other students, teachers, parents, etc.
Someone who follows the rules at school ( hallway, cafeteria, bathroom, bus, classroom, etc.).
Someone who is friendly to all.
Someone who practices good sportsmanship. ( P.E., recess, games, etc.)
Someone who is a good listener.
Someone who is kind, thoughtful, honest, and hard-working.
Someone who is responsible.
Someone who is accepting of differences in others.

A good citizen is not necessarily...
The student with the best grades.
The most popular student.
Your friend.
The funniest person in the class.
The most talkative person in the class.
The best athlete in the class.
