  1. Grades Pk-3: Would you be interested in a parent breakfast instead of a dance? This would occur around 8:00 in the cafeteria and include light refreshments and a time for students and parents to hang out together. Maybe light music and a game or two. There may need to be a cost of $1-$2 to help pay for the refreshments. *

  1. Grades 1-5: Would you be interested in a Spell-a-Thon? Students will collect pledges for spelling words correctly. Each grade level will compile a list of words the students should study (30-50 words), a test will be written by teachers (or me), and students will take the test in class. The tests will be graded and students will collect the pledges. Awards will be given to the highest % of participation and the highest % of correctly spelled words per test (awards will be whole class and per grade level). *

  1. What would be a good time for the Spell-A-Thon?


  1. There will be another Talent Show in March. Please let me know of any ideas you may have. I am already thinking of offering a "best seat in the house" where we would raffle a front row seat in a couch or love seat. Please send me your wonderful ideas!


  1. Grades 3-5: Would you be interested in an SOL Pep Rally? This would be held during the day in the gym. Teachers, students, and staff will perform short skits to motivate students, motivational music, and students could compete in games. This would happen in late April or early May.
