To create your avatar:
1. Go to www.voki.com
2. Click on Register in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Enter your name, e-mail, and birthday when the window pops up.
4. Check your e-mail and click on the link provided. If you use your school e-mail, it may be in the junk folder.
5. After clicking on the e-mail linkm log into www.voki.com.
6. Click on create. Choose a character, background, and accessories for your avatar.
7. Click on Give it a voice. You will click on the second button, a letter from a keyboard.
8. Enter your text* in Spanish, which will include 4 sentences describing a trip you will take in the future. Use future tense. The trip can be imaginary.
9. You must choose the accent/language of your avatar. Choose Spanish- if given the option, choose Latin American. Choose the type of voice.
10. Click on publish and a page should open. When you have the option to share your avatar with a friend, send it to me at cpowell@ums-wright.org.
11. Save your avatar using your First NAME and CLASS together as 1 word. For example , John in Spanish 2 Regular would choose JohnSpanish2. John in Spanish 2 Accelerated would choose JohnSpanish2ACC.
*Text example: El verano próximo, mi familia y yo iremos a una isla bonita. Yo nadaré con mi esposo en el oceano. Mis hijos irán de surfing. Nos disfrutaremos mucho.
