Communication
We are considering better ways to communicate with our associates. Graduating members of the recent Store Manager Development Program worked on a communication project that identified communication challenges with the part time associate population – this group does not have access to the store computer/portal and needs to rely on posted communication. The project team submitted their recommendation to improve communication; however, before we move forward we want to solicit additional input from our stores.

- When trying to communicate information to your part time associates, do you find it to be challenging?

- Do you believe that your store could benefit from enhanced communication? In other words, would your daily operations improve if all your associates had equal access to company/store information?

- Looking specifically at your part time associate population (those that do not have access to the store computer), please respond to the following:
Estimate the percentage of associates who have daily access to the Internet at home or through school.

- Estimate the percentage of associates who have a Smart Phone and access the Internet through their phone.
|
- Estimate the percentage of associates who have either home/school access to the Internet or use a Smart Phone for the Internet.
