  1. How awesome was your vacation this past week and a little bit more?*
Pretty darn awesome, I have to say!
Well, great at times, but not ALL the time.
It was OK. I mean, it was vacation after all.
Not so good on the vacation scale.
    Yuck.

  1. Which if any of the following movies did you see over break?*
Dora the Explorer Goes to the North Pole

    New Year's Eve
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
    The Adventures of Tintin
    The Descendants
    The Muppets
    We Bought a Zoo
    War Horse
    Arthur Christmas
    Have a Very Shakespeare Hannukah
I didn't see any movies at all because I'm sadly deprived.
I only go to midnight shows of art-house films not listed here.

    extensive snoozing
    skiing

    swimming with sharks
    traveling to another country
    traveling to another state

visiting relatives you haven't seen in weeks (or longer!)
avoiding all activity/activities, including all those listed above

  1. How happy are you to be back at school this fine January day?*
Pretty darn happy, I have to say!
I'm well rested and ready to go -- bring it on!
Umm, I suppose I'm pretty happy about the whole thing.
    Yeah, well . . .
    Yuck.

  1. What would a chair look like if your legs bent in the other direction?*
Kind of like a recliner, but with the foot part bent at 90 degrees vertically.
Kind of like a chair turned backwards.
Kind of like a chair flipped on its back (and raised, of course).
Kind of like an S-shaped thing, probably featuring a chin rest.
What kind of a weird question is that?

  1. Were you "on it" in reaching page 52 of Catcher in the Rye over vacation?
Are you kidding? I'm way, way past page 52 already!
Yes, I did the homework, albeit a little resentfully (it's vacation, Mr. Lewis!)
Yes, and it was such a good story that I didn't even resent homework over vacation!
Well, I've read more than half of the reading assignment. And I'll catch up -- I will!
Umm. Honestly, I kind of forgot about it and just ate too much this vacation.
