- I know who Cesar Chavez is and what he did for the workers in the grape fields of California during the 1960's

- I can analyze charts and data and present them in creative ways to explain to my classmates

- I can connect the movements led by Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and Cesar Chavez and tell how they are similar and different

- I can apply the principles of non-violence to gain access to goods and services for myself as a seventh grader.

- I know what it means to be an ally and stand up for others at PMMS when they are being bullied.

- I know a great deal about the Holocaust, why it happened and how people were treated during that time.

- I think that knowing about the Holocaust affects my life daily.
