Subject Matter Expert Survey
After reviewing the materials I've emailed you that correspond to this Instructional Design Project called "The Interview," please complete the following questions for feedback, analysis and interpretation of data. This “Interview Project” lesson was designed to be a comprehensive project that can be applicable to a variety of situations as lifelong learner. The overall project utilizes the higher levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy and incorporates a number of valuable technology tools, such as Final Cut Express and the use of Sony Camcorders. Conducting an interview is a fundamental part of inquiry and a very basic way to obtain knowledge. Additionally, knowing how to edit an interview requires critical thinking skills that are extremely valuable in a variety of situations. The materials you've been asked to review, prior to completing this survey, were constructed in order to design a lesson to be taught by an instructor who may or may not have prior content knowledge, thus the lesson’s design should stand independently. Please make sure you've analyzed the following before completing this survey: 1-Instructor’s Guide: Instructions to be followed by Teacher 2-Grading Rubric: Students can use this to ensure they’ve met all necessary criteria of the project. 3- ARCS Table 4-Learning/Support Material Learning Goal: Students will be able to shoot an interview using a Sony Digital Camcorder, assemble an edit in Final Cut Express that demonstrates the rules of an interview and export a quality produced informative interview in a QuickTime compressed format which they will then publish to www.schooltube.com. Final “Interview Project” videos (AKA “Teacher Features”) can be on http://www.wwrsd.org/6602061010440247/blank/browse.asp?A=383&BMDRN=2000&BCOB=0&C=64499 Thank you for your time! I look forward to your valuable feedback. Jody Lazarski
