- I can name 5 important events, people or places that impacted the United States Civil Rights movement

- I think that learning about the Civil Rights movement impacts my life daily.

- I know what a stereotype is and can name an example of one.

- Boys should not be allowed to do things like cheerleading and gymnastics and girls should not be allowed to play games like football and soccer

- I can create projects that reflect what I've learned and confidently present them in front of my classmates

- I get excited about writing poetry and feel confident in my writing of them

- I think being myself (even if that means being a little different) is better than fitting in.

- I can name several different types of bullying and reasons why people bully

- I know how to stand up for myself if I feel that I am being bullied
