    The other estates are going to challenge you and say that you should have to pay taxes. Right now, you currently do NOT pay taxes. What makes your group so special? Why shouldn't you have to pay taxes? Your answer needs to be three sentences. Copy these sentence starters to help you get started.

    In the first sentence, you are addressing the problems of the Nobles and the Middle Class (namely, that they think you should pay taxes).

    In the second sentence, you need to talk about why you shouldn't have to pay taxes. Remember that back before the French Revolution, the church did not have to pay taxes because they were doing God's work. Remember that you have to keep the schools and the hospitals running and you can use this as a reason for the second sentence.
