Enhanced Langauge Training for T202 and T136
This survey refers only to those students who were involved in the Enhanced Language Training program offered by the Language Department. Our ELT pilot started in August 2005 and is presently being finalized. The last group of students graduated from the program in April 2006 (current T202 group). Your answers will help us in the evaluation of the program. Thank you.

- The applied communication skills of students who completed Enhanced Language Training improved.
|
- Overall, students who completed Enhanced Language Training performed better than former GBC students, in previous years, who did not receive any ELT language support.
|
- T202 and T136 students who completed ELT Phase 1 and Phase 2 should be receiving an ongoing English language support through the ELT initiative until they graduate from GBC.
|
- The ELT program should be offered as a permanent prerequisite for applicants who do not meet the CLB7/8 requirement of GBC Technology courses.
|
- This English language program should be optional.
