Middle School MSLs

Please answers the three item survey concerning MSL or Common Exams in the middle schools.

  1. In May-June of this year, we will administer MSLs or Common Exams for the first time. MSLs must be given by any teacher who teaches an MSL subject AND who does not have data from an EOG for any student he/she teaches. I am surveying middle school principals to ask, do you think CCS should require all students to take all MSLs or only the ones required based on who their teachers are?

    All students should take all MSLs.
    Students should only take the MSLs they are required to take.


  1. Do you think the practice we decide to follow should be the same for all schools or should each middle school decide?
    I think it should be the same in all middle schools.
    I think each school should decide what is best for them.
