    It was fine--I learned the vocab phrases and the T/F tested my recall of events
    Have fewer vocab phrases and instead of T/F-do multiple choice.
    I would rather have a short essay based on an event in the novel.
    I think the verbal (which was for the final test) was sufficient.
    Do short quizzes at various times while reading that include vocab phrases and events from the plot
