Look at the Web site, noting the format and headings. Locate the sections that tell about the meals. Look for cognates.
Although you won't understand all of the contents in the Web site, you can probably get the information you need. You remember that in Spain jugo is called zumo, sandwiches are bocadillos, and papas are patatas. You also remember that albóndigas are meatballs, atún is tuna, chorizo is a kind of sausage, mortadela is a kind of bologna, and that paella is a traditional Spanish dish made of rice, chicken, fish, shrimp, clams, and vegetables.

Even though the prices are in pesetas, you can still convert pesetas to dollars using the currency converter Web site listed above. Under "Currency I Have," choose Spanish peseta. Under "Currency I Want," choose US dollar. Then enter the cost of your meal in Spanish pesetas. The converted amount will appear automatically. Round the US dollar amount to the nearest cent.*
