Peer Coaching, Plano, 8/8/13 8:30-12:00 CST
Register to attend Peer Coaching. Peer coaching is a confidential process through which two or more professional colleagues work together to reflect on current practices; expand, refine, and build new skills; share ideas; teach one another; or solve problems in the workplace. Although peer coaching seems to be the most prominent label for this type of activity, a variety of other names are used in the corporate world: peer support, consulting colleagues, and peer sharing. This program provides employees with the skills they need to provide behavior-based coaching to their peers in a way that will further build and develop their skill competency level. Pre-work before attending the facilitator-led training session involves completing a 1-hour on-line course on the same subject in HDU. The specific online class will be shared upon registration. The facilitator-led training will review the on-line material, bring it further to life and provide practice sessions for attendees. The class enrollment is limited. You will be notified 2 weeks before the class of your registration status (enrolled or waiting list).
