November 5 is our 2nd quarter grade prep, however Education Services inadvertently scheduled a District Collaboration time for that afternoon’s early dismissal.
So, we need to move that one hour grade prep to another time.
The leadership team took a look at the calendar and has proposed flexing it to January 3, 2014.
January 3: 7:30-8:30 Grade prep time 8:30-11:30 Building Design PD 1:00-3:15 District PD
We would be flexing that 1 hour grade prep to January 3, 2014 at 7:30AM
Option 1: Wednesday 3:45-8:00 4.25 hours, drop in, unscheduled conferences. Gym Thursday 7:30-11:00 3.5 hours, teacher initiated scheduled conferences 12:00-3:00 3.0 hours, drop in, unscheduled conferences, Gym 15 minute break 3:00-6:15 3.25 hours, teacher initiated scheduled conferences Total 14.0 hours
Option 2: Last year we had a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday schedule. If we would like to repeat this, it would be: Monday...... 3:05-5:35 p.m. - teacher initiated scheduled conferences; 2.5 hours Tuesday..... 3:05-5:35 p.m. - teacher initiated scheduled conferences; 2.5 hours Thursday ... 7:30-12:00 p.m. - teacher initiated scheduled conferences; 4.5 hours Thursday... 1:00-5:30 p.m. - teachers available for drop in, unscheduled conferences *4.5 hours Total hours 14.0 hours *Grade level and resource teachers will be located in the Commons and exploratory teachers will be in the Library.
