Online teaching and learning:Messages from Maori Learners and their teachers - Te Waipounamu

My name is Rachael Tuwhangai. I am currently undertaking my Master of Education degree at the Faculty of Education, the University of Auckland. I am writing to invite you to participate in a research project. I am conducting this research for the purpose of completing my MEd Degree.

The purpose of my research is to:
• identify course delivery approaches and pedagogy that seem to work best for cohorts of Maori
online learners
• To identify the place of Maori culture in the delivery of online courses to Maori
• To identify the ways in which online learning can enable Maori to experience success in tertiary study
