  1. Several academic studies indicate a positive correlation between improved academic performance and participation in co-curricular activities. Goal #2 of the GSD Strategic Plan states, "We will address the diverse needs of students and families by considering and measuring our evolving village demographics in order to provide effective communication, varied opportunities for engagement and to achieve equity for all students."

    Given the evolving demographics and socioeconomic status in GSD, and given that participation in co-curricular activities and athletics often carries an ongoing financial burden, how do you see our district best achieving goal #2?
