25% of Eligible Teacher Contracts Committee Survey

As we have been informed through school-based meetings, North Carolina is requiring that 25% of the teachers within each LEA who have taught more than 3 years and received at least proficient ratings on consecutive evaluations be offered four-year contracts and a pay incentive in exchange for tenure.


The 25% of Eligible Teacher Contracts Committee is requesting feedback from DCS certified employees to assist in recommending a process for selection to the Superintendent and the Board.
