Kindergarten Registration

As we approach Kindergarten registration season, I would like to solicit your feedback and consideration on ideas to increase enrollment on the actual enrollment date as opposed to later dates and in the summer. The more students that we have to show up for Kindergarten registration will give us a better picture of class sizes in the fall and ultimately will provide more accurate information for teacher allotments. Currently we have hosted Kindergarten registration on one Friday in the Spring and are prepared to do so again this year however I would like to see if you and your Kindergarten teachers are interested in other options such as several different dates (maybe 2 or 3 kindergarten registration dates) or perhaps a two week window. Again, the idea behind this possibility would be to provide parents with options of opportunities for enrollment and ultimately will help us to better prepare for next year.
