Which calendar would you prefer? (Keep in mind, that regardless of how you have perceived PD in the past, it will be our goal to make every minute of PD be meaningful and IMMEDIATELY improve instruction, student engagement and student performance.)
A 170 student day calendar with Professional Development activities occurring primarily on full days devoted to improving student performance. These will consist of few "set n get" presentations and more collaborative evaluation and improvement activities. Half days, when needed, will be 12:30 rather than 12:00.
A 174 student day calendar with Professional Development activities occuring primarily on half days, after instruction is completed.
