College Level Comp: Blended Learning
Our school will be moving toward a blended-learning environment where an increasing percentage of instructional delivery will take place online. Please help me evaluate our course so that I can best arrange our learning environment for my future classes.

- Do you think that College Level Comp lends itself well toward a blended learning environment where students might, for instance, spend three days in the classroom and two in an independent study area?
- Why or why not?
- What elements of the class do you feel best lend themselves to online (independent) work?
- What elements of the class do you feel need to remain as a part of face-to-face, on-site instruction in the classroom?
- If our class had been presented in a blended learning format this year, my effort level would have been it was in our on-site classroom.
- If our class had been presented in a blended learning format this year, my confidence in my work would have been it was in our on-site classroom.
- I believe that the average College Level Composition student would perform with the same dedication to his/her coursework in an online format as in a classroom setting.
- If the class is converted to a 50/50 blended classroom, what reasonable steps do you feel is imperative for me, as a teacher, to take to help my students perform at their best?
- What other insights can you share with me about this idea? How might it help? What concerns would you have if you were taking it online? What if your own child were taking it online?
