2014 Student Survey NCLB Comprehensive Needs Assessment

The purpose of this study is to identify the current school technology and to identify technological needs.
The purpose of this study is to identify the current school climate and serve asd a reference point for future study. Please answer the questions according to current attitudes, conditions, and practices.

    Basic Operations and Concepts: I am able to start software programs easily; Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, etc... I know how to use icons, windows and menus. I am able to print my documents. I can save documents.
    Technology Communication Tools: I can send e-mail to friends or family; I am able to send email attachments.
    Social, Ethical and Human Issues: I am able to determine if information on a website is true. I am honest, polite and respectful when I email and chat. I know how to give web authors credit when I use their material in my papers by using citations and providing references.
    Technology Productivity Tools: I type my research papers and major assignments for school. I am able to insert graphics into my documents. I can create graphs in spreadsheet programs. I can create a multimedia presentation like Powerpoint.
    Technology Research Tools: I know how to use an Internet search engine to locate information. I can keep track of websites I have visited by using favorites or bookmarks.
    Technology Problem-Solving and Decision Making Tools: I have created interesting and unique projects using the computer. I am able to work independently to complete projects using the computer. I am able to be creative and artistic with a computer/IPAD. My teachers encourage the use of the computer for school assignments. I have cooperated with a group of students to create a class project using computer technology.I believe that knowing how to use the computer will be important for me in my future.
