- I understand the intent of lesson and the why behind it.

- I understand what an opening is and the many varieties of openings and its intent.

- I know what a minilesson is and its intent.
|
- I understand that the work session involves multiple events happening and is primarily focused on what students are doing.

- I understand that the closing is as important as the opening and is often the piece that we run out of time getting done. I'm going to make an intentional effort to get to this.
