PLC time

The team leaders have been working hard to find time DURING the school day to meet as a PLC. Many ideas with their pros and cons have been discussed. We have come down to one major question for the faculty. Please answer this question. If you have comments, there is space for those at the end. You will remain anonymous.

  1. We are considering placing PLC time at the 7 to 7:55 time block. This would mean that once every two weeks your homeroom and RED time would be covered by another adult in the building. What do you think about having adults in the building NOT reading (and instead meeting as a PLC)?
I believe that PLC meeting time is more important than having all adults in the building read.
I believe that RED time is extremely important and should not be usurped for PLC time.
