Thanks for helping us as we prepare to take on the huge task of convention and childcare associated with it. We know that it is a year and a half away, but if you could answer these questions to the best of your ability, it would really help us.   1. Do you have a special talent or hobby that you might be able to share with the kids during convention time? How to make something, read a book or story, perform, teach a game, Explain.


  1. How do you feel about the older kids (8 and up) going on a field trip to the Aquarium or Insectarium (possibly for an extra fee)? These locations are each about 6 blocks away and they may need to walk. Do you anticipate this being a problem for your older kid/kids?


  1. It is highly likely that there will be two different childcare rooms for 4 and under( or not potty trained) and 4 and up. Comments


  1. If offered child care will have to be reserved early (like 4-6 months before) and will have a maximum number (as of now we are hoping to keep it to 40 or 50 kids). Will the advanced reservation be a problem?

  1. How many nights do you think you will stay in New Orleans? We have secured a $99 a night rate for the hotel on historic Canal St. - a great location for touring. This price is good for 3 days before the convention and 3 days after the convention.
