  1. The Governors have at the present time retained the pay range structure as set out in the STPCD. Budget constraints means it is not within the Governors gift to simply extend the pay structure open endedly but they recognise that retaining the STPCD structure has limitations in rewarding those teachers who have performed exceeding well. Do you have any views on how the ranges might be altered or replaced by a fair and affordable structure that allows more flexibility so as to better reward higher performing teachers ? *
