Parent-Teacher Conference Day Prep
Our fall conferences are scheduled before mid-marking grades this year. This is to allow us to focus on big picture questions. Please consider these questions so that you can share your answers at our conference together:
Now that you’ve reflected on how others see you, challenges you’re facing or have overcome, and your footprint in this Greenhill community – what are three concrete goals we (your parents and advisors) can help support you in accomplishing this year?
How do you take time for yourself? How do you embrace a good experience, so you can recall it later, during stressful times
What is the biggest positive change you see in yourself today, as compared to your freshman self from two years ago?
How do your friends describe you? What do you wish they saw in you that they don’t see?
Your years as a Greenhill student are half over. Greenhill is only as good as each of us make it. What footprint do you hope to leave on the Greenhill community when you graduate?
What is your biggest academic challenge this year, and what specific steps are you going to take to address that challenge?
What other topics do we need to discuss, specific to our conference together?
How do you think your teachers describe you? What do you wish they saw in you that they don’t see?
At this point in your life, you have seen many of your friends and their families, and you have a more sophisticated understanding of your own family. What qualities do you see in your parent that you are the most grateful for?
What is your morning routine like at home? What is your typical evening like?
