Learning to communicate verbally in a new language is as important, if not more important, than learning to read and write. The only way to make progress on your communication skills is to practice using them.

Think about how you have been using Chinese during this time and rate yourself. You will also need to provide explanations for your choices. Reflection honestly and regularly can help you with your progress.
