To help us consider the idea of "what makes a great leader" and a 'hero," comment on how can we reconcile our ideas of “heroic” founding fathers and presidents (men who we value as successful leaders, role models, and great examples of success) yet participated in the abominable evil of owning slaves, despite the values, principles and ideals spelled out in our founding documents.
