AFRICAN AMERICAN MALE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (2009-2010) OLHS - SURVEY

The African American Male Mentorship Program (2009-2010) at Ocean Lakes High School was design as a three tier program to help all students excel academically with emphasis on African American Males. The six week study consisted of workplace readiness skills, acceptable social training and customized academic improvement plans. Each mentor was responsible for guiding participants through curriculum levels to improve the student’s appreciation toward academics and traditional social behavior.
