Español II - Planes para tu futuro en español
Many students have asked about taking Spanish III next year. If you successfully complete Spanish II, you are eligible to take Spanish III. However, I caution any student who has a B- or under to really consider this decision. Spanish III is a much more challenging course than Spanish II. Students in Spanish III will be required to use the grammar, vocabulary and listening, speaking, reading and writing skills they have acquired throughout the Spanish II year, as well as build upon the skills they learned in Spanish I and II through the introduction of new tenses and many new and complex grammatical structures. Students should expect to have frequent opportunities to integrate the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) through the use of authentic materials such as newspaper articles, magazines, literary texts, video recordings, and written compositions. With all that will be introduced in Spanish III and all that will be required of you, if you have a B- or lower, taking Spanish III may not be the best choice for you. Knowing this information, we are trying to get a preliminary count of who is planning to take Spanish III next year. Please answer the question(s) below.
