Español I - Planes para tu futuro en español
Many students have asked about taking Spanish II next year. If you successfully complete Spanish I, you are eligible to take Spanish II. However, I caution any student who has a B- or under to really consider this decision. Spanish II is a much more challenging course than Spanish I. You will be required to use the grammar, vocabulary and listening, speaking, reading and writing skills you have acquired throughout the Spanish I year. We will build upon those skills and incorporate three new tenses and many new and complex grammatical structures. If you have a B- or lower, taking Spanish II may not be the best choice for you. Students with these grades are much better off taking Spanish I as a refresher course in order to build upon their Spanish ability. Knowing this information, we are trying to get a preliminary count of who is taking Spanish I and who is taking Spanish II next year. Please answer the question(s) below.
