Genetics and DNA Activities Feedback
There were several activities used to teach the concepts in the genetics unit and the DNA unit. I would like to know which activities were most helpful to you and which were least helpful so I can better streamline these units in the future. The activities in the genetics unit were as follows: 1) one trait packet 2) two trait packet 3) pedigree packet 4) complex inheritance practice problems 5) reebops The activities in the DNA unit were as follows: A) modeling DNA replication, transcription and translation with manipulatives B) 3D model of DNA C) DNA/RNA packet D) insulin worksheet E) It's All Relative (beads on pipe cleaners) activity F) DNA to Protein (codes on whiteboard, RNA papers on back tables) activity G) sequencing the steps of transcription and translation
