This is an anonymous survey about the Lord of the Rings Independent Reading Assignment for Honors English 1. Please be honest about your responses.

    Yes, pretty much

    I've never read a book that long before
    I'm not really into the epic fantasy genre

    After I read a section, I went back in and added sticky notes
    I started out doing them while I read, but eventually I went back and added them after I finished the book

    I read what other people typed for their responses before I typed my own response to a discussion question
    I just typed my response to discussion questions but did not respond to many/any of my classmates
